Clyde slept okay saturday night, but i on the other hand did not. Clyde has had an appetite even though his tummy has not been good. I continue to give him hamburger & rice which seems to have stopped the bad gas he has had since wed. What sometimes we might think to be impossible turns out to be possible. What i mean by this is that i was not sure i would be able to handle all of this, but with the lord on my side and the help of many you can achieve anything. I continue to stay positive in my journey with Clyde on the road to recovery. My daily prayers to the lord are answered in watching clyde recover. Even though their is muscle loss, clyde continues to pull himself up, which gives me strength. I must not forget to mention molly who now sleeps next to me on the pull out couch downstairs so to be near Clyde. Molly has been a very good girl through all of this, and is very vocal in letting everyone know she deserves attention too. Molly is trained now to bring me her marrow bone, so i can fill with peanut butter. I don't believe we will be doing stairs this year, so i guess i will be the fire tender for the cold nights ahead.
Today Bonnie was to help with bandage change, but Clyde was not having any part of it, come to find out he had to go #2, which he hadn't done since 3:30 pm saturday. Clyde still has some diarhea, so i have not been giving him the bone supplements. We did however get to trim his toenails, which i haven't done for at least a month or more. Clyde usually was so active running, that he wore them down naturally. Clyde ate a good dinner and it is almost 9 pm so I am hoping he will start to rest. I know tomorrow will be a better day for my Brown eyed boy.
Hope everyone has a blessed week!
